CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES

Nouveau accepts women's and children's clothing, shoes and accessories in gently used or new condition.  We accept both retail and some vintage pieces. For example, vintage furs. All pieces must be within the current consignment SEASON (see below for seasons).

STYLE & CONDITION

Nouveau accepts ONLY clean, stylish items in impeccable condition – no rips, stains, smells, etc…Items are selected based on consumer demands. NOT ALL items will be taken. All items must be brought in on hangers for review. If you’d like your hangers returned, please let us know during drop off & we will return those to you at that time.

ITEM REVIEW

A member of our team will review your items and determine which items will be accepted for consignment. Items not selected for consignment will be returned to you or if you choose, donated to Second Harvest on your behalf.

Since we currently do not require appointments, we may or may not be able to process your items at the time of drop off.  In that case, we will review your items as soon as possible & call you for pick-up of any items that we pass on OR we can donate those items on your behalf**

**PLEASE SEE CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT FOR FURTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS

**NOUVEAU does not guarantee your items will sell whether expressed or implied. Items “ACCEPTED” for consignment does not guarantee that the items will sell or be on the sales floor during the consignment period.

There is currently NO FEE to create a consignment account with Nouveau.  You can consign unlimited pieces (based upon acceptance of items) during each consignment season.

There is a $25 ANNUAL fee if you choose to have your items returned at the end of your consignment cycle.  This fee helps cover processing your items vs. donating items.

We have a consignment cycle of 60 days.  This is a “rolling” 60-day period in which the date the item hits the floor is when the 60-day cycle begins.

We try our best to rotate inventory due to the small size of our sales floor & based upon what is selling at that time/season**

If you are consigning “luxury items” (Chanel, LV, Hermes, etc..) we can/will keep your items for an extended time period if they do not sell within the first 60 days if agreed upon by both Nouveau & Consignor.

**NOUVEAU does not guarantee your items will sell whether expressed or implied. Items “ACCEPTED” for consignment does not guarantee that the items will sell or be on the sales floor during the consignment period.

**If consignor chooses to DONATE items, items may be donated at ANY TIME, not necessarily after 60 days. We are happy to provide a donation receipt from Second Harvest upon request.

PICK UP REQUESTS

Consignors who have paid the $25 annual return fee, can request to have selected items held for pick up, if they do not sell within the 60-day consignment period.

If pick up is requested, the consignor is responsible for picking up their items within 7 days after we contact you to coordinate a pick-up appointment.

If no appointment has been made after 7 days, the items become the property of the Nouveau to donate or sell at our discretion.
